Printing in the Library

What do I have to do to print in the library?
  • Install network printer (once)
  • Print to network printer
  • Activate printjob on one of the Océ-copiers in the library: 3rd - 4th - 5th - 6th floor

Install network printer (only once)

Windows
  • Sign in to CampusNet (internet connection is required)
  • Start -> Settings -> Printer -> Add Printer -> Network printer -> Type
  • \\GHUMStudentPRT1.hwstudent.ghum.kuleuven.be\PLBIB0301 (3rd floor)
    \\GHUMStudentPRT1.hwstudent.ghum.kuleuven.be\PLBIB0401 (4th floor)
    \\GHUMStudentPRT1.hwstudent.ghum.kuleuven.be\PLBIB0501 (5th floor)
    \\GHUMStudentPRT1.hwstudent.ghum.kuleuven.be\PLBIB0601(6th floor)
Apple/Mac
  • System Preferences -> Print & Fax -> Add Printer -> IP ->
  • Protocol: Internet Printing Protocol - IPP
  • Address: lbibprint.lbibterm.arts.kuleuven.be
  • Waiting Queue: printers/lbib-x + 'OK' [x = 3,4,5 or 6]

Print to network printer

  • Windows: select printer PLBIB0x01 [x = 3,4,5 or 6]
  • Apple/Mac: select printer LBIB-x [x = 3,4,5 or 6]

Activate printjob on one of the Océ-copiers in the library

  • select Printen -> Computer name -> filename.ext (e.g. paper.doc)
